Making pickles with my son Tony is one of my favorite memories. This started with telling Tony the story of the Eagles’ pickle juice game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept 3, 2000. The Eagles’ trainer introduced pickle juice to the players so they wouldn’t cramp up in 100+ degree heat for the first game of the season. The Eagles won this game.
Tony’s passion for gardening gave Tony and our family profound joy and fulfillment. Tony was often found tending to his garden on beautiful summer days. Cultivating, watering, and fertilizing were his favorite ways to relax. This became Tony’s deeply personal connection with nature, offering a space for quiet reflection and the satisfaction of nurturing life from seed to harvest, all while providing a sense of peace and renewal in the ever-changing seasons.
Tony and his grandfather Frank are the driving force for us to develop wonderful varieties and tricky names to accompany the pickles that we make. The ingredients that go into the pickles are of the highest quality and freshness.
